Hello. My name is Chuck Hansen and I want to ‘welcome you’ to Electro Scan Inc.

You may remember me from my software company that shared my last name.  After selling the company, I promised myself I wouldn’t return unless I found something that could forever change the way we collect & analyze data — and have fun doing it!

That something is Electro Scan — the next generation in sewer and water leak detection.

As a shareholder of many high technology companies, not to mention being a life-long geek, I’ve kept abreast of the latest developments in the computer industry. Seeing how the electro scan technology finds major defects missed by acoustic sensors and closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection, combined with my passion for bringing new products to market, sets the stage for this breakthrough company that represents the new standard for assessing Pre- and Post-CIPP sewer and water pipes.

I apologize, in advance, for the disruption that Electro Scan is already causing, especially shifting traditional reliance on Acoustic Sensors and CCTV to Electro Scan. Adopting new standards, learning new assessment techniques, and moving away from older ways of doing things is always difficult. But, we’ve worked hard to prepare a seamless roadmap to help you with the transition.

I’m excited to unveil our new products. Designed and manufactured in compliance with the ASTM F2550-13 our sewer and water leak detection products represent a new framework for condition assessment and evaluation; integrated to our CriticalSewer® and CriticalH2O® cloud applications that are revolutionizing how you collect and prioritize your data for repair & rehabilitation projects.

In addition to making our products a key part of your condition assessment program, you will also want to specify Electro Scan as part of your next Relining RFP or RFQ to ensure that your project is delivered leak-free.  Visual observation is simply incapable of determining whether relining successfully eliminated your I&I problem.  Find out BEFORE your contractor leaves the job site so, if necessary, they can fix it.  Given all my years in the sewer business, I can say with confidence that Electro Scan is the only product capable of certifying that a rehabilitation project has successfully delivered.

Amidst our worst drought in nearly one hundred years and growing cities and municipalities operating under US EPA and State mandated administrative orders & consent decrees, Electro Scan Inc. is the right company, offering the right products, at the right time.

I hope to see you at an upcoming tradeshow or talk with you on a company-sponsored webinar.

I might even drop by and leave one of my Electro Scan Inc. business cards, if I’m in the area.  Also, consider dropping by the next time you are in Sacramento (California), where you’ll always find a cold beer or two in the Sub Zero.

Electro Scan Inc. is proud to have the same address we started our original software company in 1983 — 1745 Markston Road, Sacramento, California 95825-4026.

Finally, make sure you subscribe to our email list, follow-us on Twitter, Like us on Facebook, watch one of our videos on the SewerElectroScan or WaterElectroScan YouTube channels, or see photos of our team in the field on Instagram.  All great ways to stay on top of company news, industry developments, and new Electro Scan users.

All the best!

Chuck
